Sailing trips in Finland and Sweden

Private sailing trips

Gather your own crew and join a professional skipper for an unforgettable sailing holiday in July. Our boat, the Archambault A35, is fast and fun to sail with plenty of space on deck. Inside, you’ll find everything you need: a stove, oven, and toilet. The boat accommodates 6 guests in addition to the skipper (a 2-person V-berth in the bow, a 2-person aft cabin, two sofa berths in the salon, and the skipper’s own corner in the storage area).

The journey can flexibly start and end along Finland’s southern coast or in the Stockholm archipelago. Last year, for example, we organized a trip from Stockholm to Hanko via Gotland.

Public sailing trips

In the 2026 season, we are organizing at least two open weekend trips (with more potentially added if there is enough demand).

Helsinki - Tallinn Race, August 21–23 (6+7 spots)

This year, we are participating in the iconic Helsinki-Tallinn Race with two boats. HTR is a spectacular offshore race that starts Friday evening from Helsinki and finishes in Tallinn in the early morning hours. During the race, you often get to enjoy a stunning sunset, followed by a night sail that is guaranteed to stay with you for a long time. The atmosphere in Tallinn is fantastic; you’ll get to share experiences and meet other sailors in the sauna and at the next day's prize giving and party.

Saturday is spent relaxing in Tallinn with a team dinner, the prize giving, and the after-party. On Sunday, we sail back to Helsinki.

We will divide participants into two groups based on experience. The more experienced and competitive group will race on the Archambault A35 "Krut", while the second group will sail on the Finnfire 33.

Price: €350

Helsinki - Stora Herrö - Kaunissaari - Isosaari - Helsinki, August 29–30 (5 spots)

At the end of August, we'll explore the archipelagos of Espoo, Helsinki, and Sipoo. We depart from NJK Koivusaari on Friday at 5:00 PM, followed by a 2–3 hour sail to Stora Herrö. On Saturday, we set off between 9:30 and 11:30 AM, depending on the wind forecast and the participants' wishes. Kaunissaari is 20 nautical miles away, roughly a 4–5 hour sail. In Kaunissaari, there is the opportunity for a sauna and a visit to the local café/restaurant. On Sunday, we head back toward Helsinki, stopping for lunch at Isosaari or another nearby island. We aim to be back at Koivusaari around 5pm.

Price: 300€ + food and potential sauna fee

Boat: Finnfire 33

Who can participate?

You can join our sailing trips alone or with a friend, whether you are an experienced sailor or a complete beginner. Our skippers are all experienced competitive sailors who, if you wish, can teach you the basics of sailing. However, you are also welcome to just come along for the holiday and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, there is no obligation to steer the boat or trim the sails.

What are the cabins like?

In the Archambault A35, there is a double aft cabin with a door, a double V-berth in the bow separated by a curtain, and two sofas in the salon. Additionally, there is a sea berth for the skipper in the boat's storage area.

In the Finnfire 33, there is a single quarter berth in the aft, a double bow cabin separated by a curtain, two sofa berths in the salon, and 2 sea berths located above them.
